History

The beginnings of Pick-n-Ship Computers started in the spring of 2001 by its owner David Cecere on eBay. Through a relative David was told about a local Minnesota company that had a large supply of Office equipment that was sitting in a warehouse collecting dust. A deal was struck with that Warehouse manager for some printers that were still in good working condition and David started selling these used printers on eBay.

Realizing that to be successful on eBay it is extremely important to offer not only a good functional product with a good honest description, but also to have fast shipping and excellent customer service. David made sure what he sold was thoroughly tested and functioned like it did when it was sold new. He also made sure any cosmetic flaws were clearly described in his ads. Once and item was purchased it was shipped within 24 hours, most times within hours to make sure it got on the shipping truck the same day it was purchased. If anyone emailed him any questions or concerns he made sure he answered those emails within the day, most times within the hour that he received the email. This attention to detail gave David a perfect 100% rating on eBay with not only no negative feedback, but no neutral feed back either. As of today (7/20/2011) this rating still stands at 100% positive feedback since 2001.

Soon after starting his eBay store, David discovered that there was a large supply of used and refurbished computers that were available from companies that were upgrading to new equipment. He then started concentrating on selling used laptops bought from these local companies. He continued to find other suppliers including companies that offered Factory Refurbished Computers and Laptops.

Because his eBay store was such a success, David decided to branch out as Pick-n-Ship Computers and opened up a new online E-Commerce website PicknShipComputers.com in the spring of 2010. With this online store Pick-n-Ship Computers is able to offer more of a variety of computer products, including new items in addition to the used and refurbished items he was already selling.
